Rules and Regulation for admission in Honours courses 2014 – 2015 (As per Rules of The West Bengal State University)

• A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate with 45% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination in which that subject is included.

  OR

• 55% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination.
• SC or ST candidates having 40% marks in aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or related subjects in herprevious qualifying examination are eligible to apply in Honours courses.
  
  N.B: Students of CBSC & ICSE Board having at least 45% marks in five subjects are eligible to take admission in General Courses.

Issue of Admission Form: 02.06.2014 to 13.06.2014 at 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from College Counter & also download from College Web Site www.ecgcweb.com

Last date of submission of Honours forms 13th June 2014 upto 3:00 P.M.

Last date of submission of General forms 14th June 2014 upto 1:30 P.M.

Admission will be going on till seats are available.

ADMISSION NOTICE

• Forms to be issued against original Mark Sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2)
• Payment of Downloaded Application Form will be made at the time of submission of Application Form at the college counter. (Rs. 100/- each)
• Cost of each Form with Prospectus Rs. 100/- each
• Documents to be produced at the time of admission.
  
  • Original admit card of Madhyamik or any other age proof certificate
  • Original Mark Sheet of Class XII level.
  • Original S.C./S.T. Certificate (For S.C or S.T. candidate)
  • Original Migration certificate, wherever applicable
• Documents to be attached with the form :
  
  • All Photo copies duly attested as mentioned in Item No.4
  • One recent stamp size photograph of the candidate to be pasted on the form.
• All forms should be properly filled up, otherwise it will be cancelled.

At the time of Admission following steps are to be taken properly by the students:

A candidates shall be allowed to take up the subject under the heading (A) if she passed the subject(s) in the previous qualifying examination, under heading(B)

• Bengali

• Subject - 1
• Subject - 2
• Subject - 3
• Subject - 4
  Of these six subjects, top four are to be added to make total marks
